Enjoying the True Meaning of Christmas
Merriest Christmas to all God’s people from DBDNJ family.

People look forward to Thanksgiving Day for a family to gather around and feast together with a grateful heart for all the good tidings they are enjoying each day. But there’s more than Thanksgiving Day that is greatly worth celebrating because of its lasting value that we and all our loved ones desperately need in our helpless and hopeless condition as sinners. It’s the Festivity of Christmas, a celebration of God’s undeserved grace but He graciously gave it to us by sending His One and Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ in order to save us from the rising torment in hell by dying on the cross as full payment and the forgiveness of all our sins.

He came to impute His righteousness upon us by obeying the law which the first Adam failed in the Garden of Eden. Hear this my friends, “Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed Him and will make many people acceptable to God” (Romans 5:18-19). This is what Christmas means to save the lost like me.

The DBDNJ is a family away from home. We celebrate Christmas with great rejoicing and boisterous laughter while sharing in the wonderment of the true essence of this very special day for all those who believe that the Son of God came to rescue us from the dominion of darkness and has brought us to a secure place under His Divine Providence until eternity comes so that we can be with Him and enjoy His Presence forever and ever.

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.”. . . “God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of His dear Son, who forgives our sins and sets us free.”. . .“You have faith in God, whose power will protect you until the last day.[a] Then He will save you, just as He has always planned to do.”. . .”Christ never sinned! But God treated Him as a sinner, so Christ could make us acceptable to God.”. . .“Our Lord Jesus Christ has power over everything, and He will make these poor bodies of ours like His own glorious body.” (Luke 2:11; Colossians 1:13-14; 1Peter 1:5;2Cor. 5:21; Phil. 3:20b-21)
