Live by the Word of God Not by Your Feeling
What a very inspiring Bible reading I have this morning from Jude 1:1 (CEV) saying, “To all who are chosen and loved by God the Father and are kept safe by Jesus Christ.” Praise God for this assurance guaranteeing our victory over Satan’s wiles to destroy us for indeed God will not make a promise that He won’t keep (Acts 2:30 CEV). Like the Apostle Paul I’m always grateful that God will always make it possible for Christ, our Good Lord, to lead us to victory so that it will always become the desire of our hearts to tell people about His wonderful and amazing works in our lives (2Cor. 2:14 CEV).

Like the wind that we can’t see but we’re certain it’s there, we feel it and even breathe the air, Jesus is ever present. We can’t see Him but He is always there surrounding us in our defense when trouble comes. Ours is just to remember what Moses said to the Israelites in the wilderness saying, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Ours is not to live by our feelings but by the Word of God (Jude 1:10b CEV). It is worth hearkening the stern warning from the Scripture that if we lived in accordance to our feeling we are likened to senseless animals that end up getting destroyed (Jude 1:10a CEV).

Jude 1:17-19 CEV, “My dear friends, remember the warning you were given by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 They told you that near the end of time, selfish and godless people would start making fun of God. 19 And now these people are already making you turn against each other. They think only about this life, and they don’t have God’s Spirit.”
