Happy Resurrection Sunday!
HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY!

“If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our message is worthless, and so is your faith” (1Cor. 15:13-14).

Praise God for indeed the Jesus we know in the Scripture did not remain in His grave making the big difference of the message we are telling people about the One and Only True Living God, our Maker.

His resurrection is a shout from heaven to the whole world, to me, to you and to all who has breath regarding the most important message that everyone needs to hear. Otherwise, “kanya-kanya na lang tayo ng paniniwala.” Or else, we could have anchored our own faith on weak sand. When the storm comes we can be easily shattered by it’s raging blows. We could have wrongfully worshipped different gods that were taught to us from generation to generation. I grew up believing that all religion have the same god. I grew up believing that we can get to heaven as long as we’re good.

But the story about Cornelius in the Book of Acts Chapter 10 will tell us that one most important thing we must hear before we breath our last here on earth is to hear the message of Salvation in the Resurrected Christ alone. Cornelius was a godly man. He was prayerful. He gave gifts to the poor. But an angel appeared to him and advised him to bring the Apostle Peter to him so that he can hear everything that the Lord wanted him to know which is the only way that will bring him/us to heaven – not our good works, not religion, not man-made god but through the Resurrected Christ alone and no one else.

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6).

The Bible is not a décor in the house. The Bible is not a charm inside our pocket. The Bible is written to be read and be lived out.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6).
