Temptation Comes after Good Times
What a liberating scenario in the Scripture that JESUS has shown us on how should we connect ourselves to the spirit world in overcoming whatever this physical world has brought us.

In the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 3 and 4, we can find the glorious triumph of Jesus over sin to accomplish His purpose why He came in human form to save sinners like you and me and to show us how to overcome every hurdle in the race of life to win the prize we are earnestly aiming for.

Matt. 3:13-17 shows us John baptizing JESUS in water. As soon as JESUS went up out of the water, He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and He heard a voice from heaven saying, “THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, WITH WHOM I AM WELL-PLEASED.” Then JESUS was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (4:1). The lesson that God wants us to learn from this scenario is for us to be watchful and be prayerful always most especially in good times. Temptation comes to us immediately after experiencing God’s goodness. God is the One giving us great opportunities to prove that we won’t give in to the same failure that our first parents Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden for nothing and no one can snatch us out from God’s embrace now that we have tasted the goodness of the Lord (1Pet. 2:3).
