You might have heard the Evolution and Big Bang Theory but God’s infallible Word in the Holy Scripture is the only reliable and undeniable source of the Truth that will set us free from all lies that cause confusion, doubts and problem to hear God who is speaking to us through His magnificent and marvelous creation giving us no excuses not to believe Him as the Master Designer of the whole universe (Romans 1:20).
What a terrible and horrific mess man could make in his life and in God’s whole creation if they don’t read God’s only ordained book, the Holy Bible so that by reading it man can live his life in accordance to His blueprint (Psalm 139) why He wonderfully created us and our habitation which God said in Genesis 3:31 after His 6-day creation, “God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”
Why man suffers the unnecessary horrendous effect of war - kingdom against kingdom, nation against nation? Why the leaders of the nations, the presidents and kings are fighting each other over the land they want to conquer when they already have their own respective territories to develop, administer and more than enough to enjoy with their own respective constituents? Even within families, those who love each other become the worst enemies among themselves and destroy their beautifully-knitted family. Why?
The answer is simple and easy to understand most especially in our time that people are becoming more complacent and unaffected to what they see. Though nowadays the work of Satan and his demons are no longer mentioned conspicuously, but it does not mean they have no access anymore in our lives. What Satan did to Judas for him to betray Jesus is still aggressively happening in our time. The Scripture says, “. . . the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, to betray Him” (John 13:2). “After Judas ate the piece of bread, Satan entered him” (John 13:27). Even Peter was rebuked by Jesus in Matthew 16:23 saying, “Jesus turned and told Peter, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! You are a hindrance to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.’” It is in this vantage where we can see the reason why the condition of the whole world keeps on worsening and seemingly becoming unstoppable as it is already written that Satan is doing double time in the last days for he knows his end is near (Revelation 12:12). It is possible therefore that a person can be demon-possessed (partially and even fully) unconsciously because of carelessness.
It is for this reason that the Apostle Paul is earnestly and fervently praying that anyone who is blinded by Satan’s work (2Cor. 4:4) will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil (Luke 21:34-36), who has taken them captive to do his will (2Tim. 2:26).
The question therefore how to find a very satisfying and beautiful life which God meant for everyone is “who do you listen to”? Satan or Jesus? For the friends of God, this is His promise in the Scripture, “I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father” (John 15:15).
