Who Will Not Marvel at God's Amazing Works?
Who will not marvel at God’s amazing works which He vividly and sensibly illustrated in the Scripture to satisfy man’s aesthetic sense in answer even to the most perplexing condition of man to go through the aging process of his brief-earth life. I was so mesmerized by my Bible reading this morning when 1Corinthians 15:36 captured my eyes to the wonder of all wonders on how God brought life from a dead seed. It says, “What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.” What a beautiful illustration of God’s power to change our corruptible body into an incorruptible body from being mortal into immortal when our earthly body is replaced with a heavenly body which splendor is beyond human description (1Cor. 15:38-44).

This must be one reason why the Holy Scripture is challenging us to use our limitless power of imagination with all His amazing promises He put into writing to shield us from Satan’s flaming arrows (Eph. 3:20; 6:16) and make us overcomer by and through His grace (1Cor. 15:10b). How can we barter our heavenly inheritance with the passing glamour of what this world can give?

Mark 8:36 says, “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” For the overcomer, our Good Lord has this awesome promise, “To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with Me on My throne. . .” (Rev. 3:21).
