DBDNJ Ministry Fair '10
One of the most blessed moments I will always treasure as a pastor of God’s flock is to see a soul redeemed by the Blood of Jesus stepping up to serve his or her Master with the gift He freely and graciously bestowed upon all the believers. It is for this grandiose reason that has made me so excited with the Ministry Fair that we are going to hold on the 28th of March (Sunday) because of the opportunity of providing each one a place for ministry and be used of Him.

I am eagerly looking forward with so much anticipation to see more lives to gain meaning of their existence as I believe that God has ordained this event a Day of Rejoicing with more people responding to His Word being called to do His works according to Ephesians 2:10 which says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

While most of the brethren have already started running the race of faith with valor and fervor, for the beginners, it is their day to start developing muscles to their faith and putting them to work. As they sign the Opportunity Cards, they will be making a very important step to join God’s valiant workforce at Day by Day Christian Ministries in edifying the Body of Christ and bringing more souls into His kingdom.

As I took part in this activity, I have come to appreciate more the effort shared by the working ministries which have been self-sufficient this far by the grace of God. Thus, the real challenge for us is to dig deeper into the resources of the Body of Christ. For all we know, our need to widen the expanse of our mission field has already been provided by God all along, and that we only need to respond with enthusiasm not even counting the cost, for we know that they are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

As I always say it with confidence, I have peace that if Christ were to appear at our doorway at anytime, we would be running joyfully toward Him as good and faithful servants (Matthew 25:21) and not running fearfully away from Him because of stubborn hearts (Rev. 6:15-17).

May the riches of God’s blessing be our portion each day as we continue working together to enhance and expand the ministry of Christ’s Church as the Holy Spirit empowers us.
